  • Thursday 21st November – 9:00 – 9:45am Writing at Henleaze Infant School – Session for Parents.
  • Please find the lunch menu by clicking here.
  • Please use the school calendar to find up-coming dates (including our Nativity performance and carol service).
  • Please make sure your child has a coat in school every day. We will go outside even when it is cold and raining.
  • Please do not allow your child to play with the resources that are on the Reception patio in the morning. These have been carefully positioned and are there to support your child’s learning during the school day.
  • We will be learning about cats this week and would love to get to know any cats you might have at home. If you have a cat please could you send a picture to our class email address with the cat’s name, age and breed. daisy@henleaze-inf.bristol.sch.uk or buttercup@henleaze-inf.bristol.sch.uk

Purple Mash are holding a Festive Christmas Card Competition and we would love it if pupils from Henleaze Infant School could take part in this at home; we look forward to seeing your entries! Please click this link for full details on how to enter.

Please note: School staff don’t get notified of entries and as they are on public display boards names are not added alongside them. Therefore, please could you additionally email a copy of their design to your child’s class teacher so that we can celebrate these in class.

We have really enjoyed learning about the ELLI Tortoise this week. The children have been persevering in their learning and have been trying their best to stick at tasks even when they are finding them challenging. We have started to learn songs for our nativity performance and are looking forward to going into the hall as a whole year group next week to sing the songs together and start the performance.

The focus this week is Physical Development

Please send in an observation of your child doing a physically activity which they enjoy – this could be running, playing football, swimming, skipping, or anything else!

You can also send us any moments that you feel are significant in your child’s learning or want to share with your child’s class teachers. Click the links below to find out how to add observations from different devices.
