It is Red Nose Day on Friday 21st March 2025. To support Red Nose Day, children can bring in their red nose and wear it at playtimes with their uniform. We will not be collecting money, however if you would like to donate, you can do so online.

Write a Mothers day Poem. Write it up in best for a special card.
Continue with Non-Chronological Report Writing about Climate Zones. Use information researched.
Continue with sections 3 and 4 using the following sub-headings:
3. Countries and Flags
4. Animals
Use subordinating and coordinating conjunctions to join information and give reasons.
Use adverbs.

Whole Class Reading Sessions: Focus on the narrative extract for inference and the core text for a personal response.
Guided Reading groups and 1:1 readers

Art Make a card for Mothers Day using edited photography from last week’s computing session.
Science Q4 What can happen if plants don’t get the things they need? Making comparisons.
Music Chronology L5 – To explore, recognise and respond to features of a piece of music from the 20th century.
Computing Linked to Geography work – Take pictures & edit of our environment (temperate climate zone) to add to written reports.
PSHE Safety and the changing body – Staying safe with medicines.
PE Lesson 7 To demonstrate different shapes, take off and landing when performing jumps.
SHINE PE To develop hitting a moving target.
Geography Start climate zone models. working in small groups. Start the models in boxes (Papier mache) using back drops of landscapes created last week.
