We will be focusing on non-fiction text this week and will be reading information about Brunel ahead of our trip.
Writing
This week we will be learning and writing about Brunel. We will be writing fact files about some of the information we have found out.
Maths
This week in maths we will be looking at division. We will be looking at how:
-to share objects equally between a number of groups.
-understanding that it is not always possible to share equally and that all groups must have the same amount to be fair.
Wider Curriculum
Science: We will be revisiting our learning about animal classifications; mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish. Each class will choose the animal groups to focus on depending on the ones that they class found the trickiest to remember.
Computing: We will be designing our own algorithms e.g. giving an object a command
DT: Inspired by the work of Brunel, we are going to be building our bridges based on the designs we created last week.
Religion and World Views: We will be learning about the Christian Creation Story
Music: We will be beginning to identify the difference between a pulse and rhythm.
History: We will be doing an assessment on timelines.
