English

Phonics: 
Phase 5c phonics

Reading
This week we will reading the story Pig the Pug by Aaron Blabey. We will also be reading about what different pets need to help us with our writing. 

Writing
We will be using the story Pig the Pug and thinking of adjectives to describe the dog. We will then be creating our own character that is a pet and thinking about what they might need.

Maths   

This week we will be learning about money. 

Wider Curriculum

Science: Revisiting the seasons and creating a tree diary of the deciduous tree that we have observed this year to summarise what it looked like in each season.

PE: Learning how to get a batter out in a fielding and striking game such as rounders.

PSHE: Children will be learning to understand the differences between spending and saving money.

Computing: Creating algorithms in Purple Mash to complete a route. This week we will be focusing on trying to put in multiple steps at once to create a more complex algorithm.

Art: Creating artwork for our new classes.
