Writing
We will use our knowledge of Brazilian culture from our learning last week to create a setting from Brazil and begin to plan and write a story set in Rio de Janeiro.
Reading
We will be continuing to read our new class text – Paddington.

Maths
This will be our last week working on Addition and Subtraction. We will therefore also be carrying out assessment of our learning.
-To compare number sentences using greater than >, less than < or equal to symbols =.
-To practically solve missing numbers within a calculation.

Wider Curriculum
Science: ‘Animals including humans’: How do animals change as they mature?
History: How do we know about the Great Fire of London?
PE: Dance
Music: We will be using our voices creatively and expressively to sing the song ‘Big Boats, Small boats’
R + WV: How can Puja express thanks?
DT: We will learning about the food groups that make up a healthy balanced diet. This is the start of a sequence of lessons that will lead to us making a healthy wrap (we will be asking for ingredient contributions… please watch this space!.
