NW24 Art Competition

This year at Henleaze Infant School we are launching the ‘NW24 Art Competition’. We are inviting children to engage in the opportunity to think more about ‘My True Nature’. This competition encourages children to think about how wonderful our natural world is and what good we can do to protect it. Responses could be linked to favourite places in the natural world, living things, or something that inspires you in nature. Please see the picture below to see artwork suggestions.

This year’s competition is open to 6 different key stage groupings: EYFS/KS1/Lower KS2/Upper KS2/KS3 /KS4, its timing enables this to be an Easter holiday project, the closing date is Friday 1st of May. A photograph of the entries should be emailed to henleaze.i@bristol-schools.uk with the subject: Art Competition 2020. Entries should include the following information:

  • Title of artwork
  • Pupil’s name
  • Age group
  • School

Artwork submitted will then be judged with help from RWA- Bristol’s first art gallery and winners will be announced in Term 5! We are really excited to see the creative direction the children take with the competition and look forward to seeing all the entries.

Good luck!
