Term 2 week 3

It was fantastic to see so many bright clothes and smiles last Friday and to help raise funds for this fantastic cause, Children in Need. Lots of fun was had (alongside our learning of course!) It was in direct contrast to our discussions about ‘Poppy Day’ and of our observing of the silence on the 11th. Thank you for all your support and your enthusiasm and engagement with your children’s learning that you showed during this week’s Parent Consultations. It was a little strange for all of us but it became more ‘normal’ for us as we went through. Thank you for your support.

Noticeboard

  • Friendship Week – The whole school will be working and thinking about Friendship this week and what it means to be a good friend. To kick this off we’ll be wearing odd socks on Monday 16th November to help start our discussion. A separate email was sent out. This is not a fundraising activity.
  • Remember to click the link to plans below if your child is needing to self-isolate but is well. Please email the class email address if you find yourself in this position and are unsure.
  • We will continue to aim to get outside as much as possible so they really need a warm, waterproof coat each day.
  • Look at last week’s blog if you missed details of our art competition. Closing date: 30th November.

Year 1 Learning Week 3, Term 2 – Link to plans and resources if you are needing to isolate or quarantine.
