Year 2 Home Learning – Term 4, Week 1 (w.b. 22.2.21)

Welcome back Year 2! We hope you had a restful and enjoyable half term break!

This term, we will continue our Space topic (although our Week 1 writing is not very spacey as you will see). We are really missing you all and are excited to see pictures or your learning this week. Hopefully we will all be back together soon.

On Thursday, we will be writing instructions for making pancakes. Here is a pancake recipe if you haven’t yet made any and would like to do so before this task.

Please note you will need some practical resources for Wednesday’s maths lesson. Useful resources to gather before you start:

  • Play dough
  • Straws
  • Marshmallows/Blutack
  • Boxes that you can examine/dismantle
  • Lolly sticks/cocktail sticks/spaghetti
