Term 6, Week 2

We have had a busy first week back at school ending with our Number Day on Friday. The children all enjoyed sharing the numbers that they had found at home and had fun doing lots of counting and activities based on the number 30. We have also enjoyed having our PE lessons outside on the Trim trail and Log climber in the big playground.

Observation Challenge  Thank you for sharing last weeks observations of repeating patterns.

This week we would love  to see some observations of the children hunting for minibeasts in the garden or the park

This week’s Learning

The full plans are available here if you are isolating at home for week 1.

In addition to our Jigsaw and Daily Wellbeing, we will be including circle times to support friendships and play as appropriate for each class.

Our Jigsaw session this week is the first in our theme of “Changing me” and we will be talking about how we keep our bodies healthy.

We will also continue to do daily wellbeing activities.

This week we will be reading and sequencing the well known story of ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ by Eric Carle. We will be using story sack props to tell the story to each other.
