Reception – Term 3, Week 2

  • Friday 30th January – Inset day. School closed to children
  • Please bring in clean cardboard boxes of all sizes for our Design and Build area (junk modelling). No plastic please.

The focus this week is Understanding the World.

Ask your child to draw a picture of themselves and see if they can name parts of the body. In school, we have been learning about body parts that you can see (e.g. nose, shoulder) and those you can’t (e.g. lungs, brain). In the text, please list the ones they were able to remember.

You can also send us any moments that you feel are significant in your child’s learning or want to share with your child’s class teachers.
