Year 1 Learning. Week 2, Term 4.

Thank you to all parents and carers who attended our parents evenings last week. It was so good to see so many of you face to face again and to welcome you into our classrooms. I think that we all agree just how much work and progress all of the children have made so far at this mid-point in the year. Thank you for your ongoing support.

Noticeboard

  • World Book Day – Friday 3rd March – ‘YOU ARE A READER’
To celebrate this day which acknowledges the importance of reading for pleasure, we have some exciting events for you to join in with.

Please join us in celebrating World Book Day at Henleaze Infants School on Friday 3rd March. We are very lucky to have a drama workshop for all KS1 classes booked in for this day and we invite you to dress up as a book character and bring in your favourite book. Please ensure all books brought in are labelled with your child’s name and class

  • You will find below a grid showing the sessions to be taught each week. They do not exactly follow days as each class has different sessions due to support and PE times being different but it allows you to see the week as a snapshot of sessions.
  • We will always aim to get outside, whatever the weather, as much as possible so children will really need a waterproof coat each day.
