Term 6, Week 6

The highlight of last week has to be our Learning Shares on Wednesday. It was so lovely for the children to show you their amazing work and to show you around their classrooms. I’m sure that you will agree that considering the disrupted year that we have had they have all done some wonderful work and made amazing progress!

This week we have enjoyed thinking about the book The Journey and relating it to all the different types of journeys that we have been on and different forms of transport. Some of the children have used every brick that we have to build their own versions of the castle.

Notices

  • Weather permitting Reception will be holding their Sports Day on Monday afternoon. Please send your children to school in their PE kit. We are sorry that you cannot join us but will take lots of photos to share with you. If it doesn’t happen we will reschedule for later in the week.
  • Please continue to send your child with a coat everyday as even on sunny days it can be quite chilly outside on our patios and in the playground.

This week’s observation challenge

Please continue to send us any observations related to our theme of Journeys.
