Reading:

One to one reading will continue take priority this week alongside play rehearsals. Once reading books have been taken in, children will still be able to access books in school to read at the appropriate level. Any children who are very close to completing the last side of their bookmarks and receiving their head teacher’s award, please just come and see your class teacher.

Writing

This week we are being Creative Unicorns and exploring stories by Julia Donaldson in very fun ways. To help us with our The Everywhere Bear lesson, please can you send in your child with clean recycling materials to be used for junk modelling. The stories we will be doing are: Tiddler, The Everywhere Bear and The Gruffalo.

Knowledge and Understanding of the World (Topic)

Play

We will start our play rehearsals ready for the big performances on 12th July! If your child has brought home some lines to learn, please help them practise at home.

PSHE

This week in PSHE, children will be able to understand there are different types of touch and tell you which ones I like and don’t like. I can be confident to say what I like and don’t like and ask for help.
