Year 2 Learning. Term 1, Week 3

(Week beginning 11/9/23)

This week: Wednesday 13th September – Year 2 WOW Day

To kick off our new topic we are inviting the children to dress up using the theme of ‘Knights and Castles’. During the day the children will learn about Heraldry and create their own shields, learn a dance to Henry VII’s ‘Greensleeves’ and perform it at a ball following a special banquet!

Also this week: Tuesday 12th September – Class return to school meetings and information about supporting your child’s reading progress.

If you are unable to attend or want to remind yourself of what was said then please follow the link to notes for the meeting. We shall update them after the meeting if questions were asked and answered during the session as it will remain a live document. Link to notes
